Customers are mixed about the fit of the freestanding shelter. Some mention that it's easy to stall and properly fitted, while others say that the three walls and the awning do not fit inside the bag. The case is very tight and the corner weight bags might be too small to secure this canopy from serious winds. Additionally, the sides are impossible to fit into the bag, and the outer pocket is too short to contain the awning fixtures.
"...Okay, one other small quibble, the sidewalls don't fit in the carry bag with the frame and canopy, I had to get a duffel bag to hold the sidewalls...." Read more

Customers have mixed opinions about the weight of the freestanding shelter. Some mention that the sides are very durable yet not heavy, making it easy to set up. However, some customers say that the frame is all one piece, making the shelter easier to transport. The wheeled carrying case is convenient, especially since the shelter is quite heavy. However some customers also say that it is tall and kinda heavy, but much sturdier than their last one. The only downfall is that it's another of weight for one person to handle, and after two weekends they've had to.

Customers are mixed about the performance of the freestanding shelter. Some mention that it functions well and assembles easily, while others say that it did not perform well in that scenario, is not usable, and the sun awning never worked from the beginning.
"...They function well and assemble easily, but I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on the seams as we use it more...." Read more
"...don't synch the awning with the correct side (with the tabs) , it will not work...." Read more

I haven't had this tent long but I have had to put it through a lot bad weather. As with all tents, how you secure it makes a huge difference with how it holds us in weather. I had it secured with only the ground stakes, two in each leg when a sudden very heavy downpour dumped water on it. It shed the water like a champ. Over half the tents in the area I was in were destroyed as they collected the water and collapsed under the weight. A couple nights later a big storm was in the forecast. I used 5 -5 gallon buckets filled with water in addition to the stakes (one on each of the four corners and one inside tied to frame in the center). We had strong winds, heavy rain, and even hail. It held up fine and I would say kept everything about 95% dry. There were a couple spots where water got in but not much.
The next storm I had to put it through I was on asphalt and couldn't stake it down. I used the water buckets again and tied my grid panels and anything else heavy to different points around the tent. This one made me a little nervous. 30-40 mph wind gust with heavy rain. The water didn't roll off it as well as when it was staked and it did form some large puddles on the roof in one corner. I don't know why. The wind gusts did try to pull the legs from the ground but I added more weight to each leg as I saw it wasn't secure. Two days of this weather and wind and it did keep standing and kept things dry, except under the one corner where the water had pooled. It did not stay completely in place. Some areas shifted but with the weight, it didn't go far. I have no doubt that if I had been on ground and was able to stake it, it would have been fine.
So far, I surprisingly have no complaints. I did not have the additional awning pieces attached during the storms. They would not have survived. They do not attach as securely as I would like and they are not as taught as in the picture. It is not possible to put the two awning in line on the 20 foot side of the 10x20. Each awning requires a bracket on each end that attaches to the tent legs. With only one leg in the center, you need to secure one awning higher than the other, so both brackets can fit on the one leg. They need to have a side piece that has a holder on each end, so that you could use one bracket on the center pole for both awnings.
The dark color (royal blue) is a little warmer inside than my old white tent but I expected that. All tents get warm anyway. I use several fans to keep the air circulating. The bigger problem with the darker color is that you will need lights even in the daytime if you keep some of the sides on. Also the color of the tent affects the color of the clothing I sell without lights. Everything is seen through a blue filter, from the roof color.
So far though this tent has been holding up way better than I anticipated. I still like my shelter logic Accel-a-frame tent best, but they have discontinued it. This is easier to transport however as the frame is all one piece. The roof is easier to put on, on this tent, as you can do so before it is all the way set up. So this one does have its advantages.
The attached photo was literally taken the day after the canopy was delivered. Admittedly not the best "product shot", it shows the versatility this item offers. In the midst of what ended up being an all-day torrential downpour, we had set up two of the solid walls, the "door" panel on the back, and left the remaining side open. As you can see, the tent is more than wide enough for backing a full-size pickup into, and using the awning (without the retention straps) created the perfect dry space that lasted all day. We had no issues whatsoever with any moisture or leaks, and only once had to "dump" the ceiling for water pooling (the center support pole is adjustable and probably could have prevented the pooling if I had played around with it).
The frame is definitely thicker and more solid than any previous canopy we've owned. I'm not sure I'd attempt to do pull-ups on the thing like the manufacturer suggests is possible, but it has a visible and tactile sturdiness that I like a lot. Setup and takedown is an absolute breeze - it literally takes 5 minutes from bag to fully opened with one person; obviously less if you've got an extra set of hands. One thing I really love is that the roof of the canopy CAN be left on the frame, so there's no need to drape it over and attach it each time you use the tent.
In all fairness, I will say that the side panels are noticeably lower quality than the roof. They have a "thinner" feel to them, and the stitching and zippers do feel a bit frail compared to the core frame and roof. They function well and assemble easily, but I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on the seams as we use it more. I also did poach some extra tent stakes I happened to have laying around and threw them in the bag... the included stakes are good quality, but only four are included. If you're setting this up for an extended period, or in any windy situation I'd recommend using stakes in each of the frame feet AND to attach guy lines to each corner.
One other tip I can offer based on my brief experience: the instructions for assembling the awning suggest putting the panel together first, then attaching it to the canopy. I've found it to be MUCH easier to attach the awning panel first, then add the front and side frame components while it's hanging. I've found it to be far faster and less awkward than the suggested assembly method. Additionally, attaching the awning BEFORE raising the canopy to full height is also vastly easier than stretching to reach the anchor loops or having to use a step stool.
All-in-all, this thing is fantastic, and I don't have any regrets spending the extra money after having used it only a handful of times. I may look into purchasing an extra set of side panels just in case they prove to be less durable than the core canopy itself.

It's sturdy, well made and everything is super easy to use. It's at an amazing price for what it is so I got two for all my events.
My only feedback is the bag that it comes with for storage and transport needs some tweaking, as the front pocket should be larger for poles etc and possibly be a zipper so things don't fall out. As well, the wheels screw on and will unscrew when used.
Otherwise, tremendous product! 👏

It would have been nice if this product came with proper instructions, especially at this pricepoint. Instead, the "manual" includes only general and very brief instructions for any kind of canopy tent. No mention of the walls, no mention of the awning (which we figured out with a little trial and error), and no mention of the prop-up piece for the centre! We had to take down everything to insert it and then put up everything again.
Another problem is that I don't think most weights that aren't sand or water bags would fit the legs, because of the plastic parts at the bottom used to pin the legs to the ground on soil. I was thinking of buying extras, because the sand bags don't look like they could hold the tent in strong winds. I might be wrong about that, and I might also be wrong about not being able to attach extra weights. If this is a concern for you, I suggest you do more research.
Ultimately, the tent seems good enough and I can't wait to use it as a vendor at a market (which is what I bought it for). The one star subtraction of my rating is for the lack of proper instructions. I'd expect that from a $100 canopy without awning and sidewalls made in China, but not from a $350 US product.
