Product Description
ACDelco GM Original Equipment Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensors (TPMS) are battery powered sensors located in the tire that monitor the vehicle’s tire pressure, and warn the driver when pressure falls more than 25% below the manufacturer’s recommendations (normally through a slow pressure loss). The sensor is connected with the valve stem, and by way of Radio Frequency (RF) technology, sends pressure updates to the vehicle’s on-board computer. Tire pressure is displayed on the vehicle’s Driver Information Center (DIC), or when low, a warning lamp might be illuminated to warn the driver. The U.S. Federal Regulations require that new cars and light trucks be equipped with TPMS starting in 2008. These original equipment tire pressure monitoring sensors have been manufactured to fit your GM vehicle, providing the same performance, durability, and service life you expect from General Motors.

Heads up to all buyers. I did need to buy a TPMS learn tool to get them to pair to my truck. I was not able to accomplish the typical air pressure let down procedure in the manual. Not one of them would pair using that method. I’ve done this procedure multiple times without any issues before. I do know GM eliminated this procedure sometime around the 2012 model year. So these may be updated sensors that require the learn tool. These are the same part number any auto store would sell. The tool is available on Amazon for $10. I wish I would have just bought the tool years ago, it made the whole process very easy and didn’t require more pressure adjustments.
All in all a very good purchase. No different experience then if you bought them from a parts store. Except they were about a third of cost.
TPMS
EDIT: JUNK!!! DONT BE FOOLED BECAUSE THE SAY AC DELCO!! This is the second complete set I've purchased that have all gone completely dead after 16 months. Yes there cheap and AC Delco but were manufactured 7 years ago and have been sitting in a warehouse as blackstock. Most likely wholesaled and then resold here on Amazon. Dont waste your money Not worth a nickle You get what you pay for, Trust me save your money.
Item looked good. In sealed Genuine AC Delco bag. Looked identical to the old one I was replacing which had stopped working. Compared both carefully before removing the old one. Installed the new one, re-seated my tire on the rim and aired it up then bolted wheel back on the right rear of my 2008 Silverado truck and proceeded with the learn/matching procedure. The other three tires would transmit and the horn beeped as before but the tire with this new sensor would never beep regardless of how much air I let out. This was the same problem I had before with the old sensor. I tried the procedure over and over 7 times . The other three wheels would register with a horn beep when I let out air but this new one would never register. I double checked before ordering this sensor and the order info stated that it was the correct sensor for my 2008 Chevy Silverado. It looks identical to the old one I removed but does not work. I don’t know if the battery in the sensor is dead, the unit is defective or if it’s the wrong one for my vehicle but after installing it in the wheel before finding that it does not work, obviously I cannot return it for replacement or refund. I still have my original problem with sensor not working in this tire but now I’m also out the cost of the “new” sensor and the labor of installing it
I purchased 4 of these to replace the sensors on my truck. They were purchased on Dec 13 2021 and installed a couple months later when I purchased new tires. I contacted the seller about these items as I had questions and was assured they were not New Old Stock items and these were the correct sensors for my truck. These sensors typically last at least 10 years and the original sensors lasted 13 and 14 on my car. However, just over 1 year old, now it seems the batteries are going dead. Last week the two front sensors would not read and I got the message to service the system. The next morning only one sensor would not read. I rotated the tires to see if the problem followed the sensor that is not reading and cannot match the sensors to the truck. If they only last a year, they are not worth purchasing. I tried to contact the seller but cannot find how to do it as I wanted to ask if there was any warranty.
