Works as advertised, you do not need the can bus adapter if you know what you are doing, I had to extensively research after giving up installing my after market radio.
I thought I had all the wires hooked up correctly, and I did, color by color, but my after market didn't turn on.
I thought it was a faulty harness + radio, and as soon as I was ready to return it because I didn't want to buy the can bus device that is 70-90 dollars, I wanted to look up some forum posts on my vehicle to see if others had any success .
Long story short, I found a post describing how to tap into the cigarette lighter because my 2014 patriot didn't have the red power accessory, I would have to have bought the can bus adapter to make the harness and my radio work, once I spliced into the cigarette lighter, low and behold my radio turned on.
TLDR: research, research, research, when installing anything for your vehicle, and keep how to read wire diagrams.
Don’t forget to buy heat shrink tubing with low melt temp solder for connecting the harnesses. It makes the entire process so much easier (use a heat gun or hair dryer to melt) and keeps it all clea .
As far as my experience goes, this was a complete waste of time and money. I am very PISSED OFF right now!

My head unit is the Pioneer the DMH-2660NEX
This wiring harness
The Maestro RR Unit
And the video camera in the picture which was double the price of the cheaper ones i first bought but did not work. Save yourself the time and hassle and spend a little more to get something that work from the start.
