Customers like the ease of movement of the snow blower wheels. They say that the wheels allow the snow thrower to roll easily on the ground without the awful SCRAPING sound. They also say that it makes maneuvering easier, the machine is so much more maneuverable, and it doesn't dart left and right as much on uneven surfaces. 62 customers mention27 positive35 negative

Customers are mixed about the durability of the wheel. Some mention that it's long-lasting, solid, and well-built. However, others say that the durability dropped once the wheels stopped rolling. The plastic holds up well in cold weather, but the one with the frozen wheel no longer turns. Some say that they do wear out if the wheels freeze or get stopped by a small rock wedged between them. The steel skids wear out too quickly and drag on the asphalt.

"Only had two storms but one wheel flattened out quickly. Put the old metal skids back on." Read more

25 customers mention9 positive16 negative

Customers are mixed about the adjustability of the wheel. Some mention that it fits perfectly, is easy to install, and is a direct fit replacement for snowblower skids. However, others say that it didn't fit their snowblower, did not fit a Husqvarna 224p, or did not work with their Briggs and Stratton 27 in snow blower without modifying the interior mounting holes. They are a little wider than the original skid shoes, and when they drive down the sidewalk, they get caught in the cracks.

Customers have mixed opinions about the bearing of the wheel. Some mention that the wheels are the best, while others say that they are not always rolling anymore. Some customers also mention that one of the rollers barely rolls before installation, while other customers say that the screws holding the product are horrible.

"I noticed they were not always rolling anymore and was considering buying a new set of rolling skids...." Read more

These should be standard issue on every snow blower

These should be standard issue on every snow blower
These were a piece of cake to install and are a 100% improvement over basic "skid shoes" - either steel or poly. I started replacing the original steel skid shoes with poly slides years ago because a) they rust and b) they were leaving scars all over my driveway/patio...but the poly slides require constant adjustment as they wear down and you have to replace them every year. And the snow blower just runs easier on the rollers so if these last a couple of seasons I'll be doing less damage, less maintenance, and spending less money. Win-win-win.

5.0 out of 5 stars These can be modified to fit a SnowJoe!
Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2020
I bought these not realizing that my SnowJoe (Electric) ION8024 has a bolt spacing of 1.75". The SnowJoe comes with metal skids and they're abrasive enough to damage sidewalks where I live.

These are made of hard plastic, and as such, they're relatively easy to drill through.

I was able to eyeball drilling through them to fit to the SnowJoe and they work great. No more scraped sidewalks or pavement. It is worth mentioning that drilling these essentially will prevent you from returning them, so if you do need to drill them, you should be extra careful to make sure the bolt/nut fastener has enough clearance from the wheel on the shoe.

I haven't had these long, so I'm unsure of the durability, but they seem pretty solid and the wheels spin freely. I'm pretty happy with them considering they weren't made to fit my snow blower.

Broke after 3 uses. Back to metal sliders I guess.
What bothers me the most is that you did nothing to remedy the situation. You will take my money and it ends there. I would really like to tell you what i think of your business but you won't print it.
