Good. But not as good as prior models
Looking to replace my old B&D dustbuster, I did ridiculous exhaustive research on the newer models. My requirements were simple. It had to hang vertically where the old one hung and be as or more powerful than previous. (See photo) So that meant I couldn't select the model that stored horizontally but had the advantage of charging in a cradle. I was saddled with plugging in to recharge. And about that plug. The old plug simply plugged in to the vacuum without regard to orientation. The new plug requires orienting the plug to the vacuum. (See photo) No biggie. Just a backward step in user friendliness. And no dummy lights. The old model provided illuminated confirmation the unit was charging. The new model leaves you guessing and hoping. Again, minor. But just sayin'. And last, the old unit provided a shroud (see photo) as a kind of pre-filter before the real filter did its job. No shroud with the new unit - although the filter frame is the same and accommodates the old shroud. So I just transferred it over to the new unit. Since the unit is new, I have no idea if it will be as durable as the prior unit. And just a note about durability, the entire reason for replacing the unit was simply that the LI-Ion batteries cannot be replaced, a design feature that is environmentally irresponsible. I like the product, that's why I bought it again. But, yeah, this is a small leap backward.

This is such a must have vacuum! We own multiple pets and this little guy will pick everything up. We also own a rabbit, this actually does a great job in getting those small hard to get hay pieces. It has powerful suction and a decent battery life for all the quick pickups.
Really easy to maintain. If it gets clogged, take the top piece off and clear the clog. If dirty, wash it out and let it dry. These are so handy, we have purchased 4 of them for around the house (one in each room). If you are a pet owner, I highly recommend this. From the regular debris a household produces, to the hairs and mess you get from pets, this thing gets it all.
The only downside to this is that there is no way to know if it is charged or how long is left on the battery. The previous model (and others) have some indicator light, this one does not. Aside from the unit being all plastic (which is just about everything now a days), there was some plastic wrapping for the contents.
Pros:
• Strong suction.
• Easy to clean.
• Decent battery life.
• Easy to disassemble.
• Bag less.
• Translucent casing.
• Lightweight.
Cons:
• Unlike it's predecessor or other models, there is no charge indicating light.
*Note, there are two ratings applied to the reviewed item. "Product rating" and "Packaging rating". The actual product will not be impacted by the packaging as these are two separate ratings.
In regards to packaging, the following are contributing factors against the "Packaging rating":
• In an effort to globally reduce and promote less usage of plastic, any usage of plastic or non-environmentally safe packaging/products/material will be marked negatively.
• Single use items that do not biodegrade or cannot be easily recycled (see point above on plastics).
• The packaging rating is being introduced to help drive a shift to more sustainable and environmentally friendly resources.
