Tips
- Leaking
- Check whether the pipes and pipe joints are damaged
- Tighten the fixing screws of the booster pump
- Check, clean or replace the filter device, keep the oil circuit unblocked, and avoid the valve core being blocked by foreign matter
- Noisy
- The gas in the pump must be evacuated, check the tightness of each joint, prevent air from entering
- Check whether the resistance of the suction pipe is too high
- Check whether the pressure adjustment of the safety valve is too high

We even tried to re-seat the in- and out- hose o-rings because I know that’s a common issue. Nothing worked. The rack was getting hot from not having fluid sent to it and the reservoir began to overflow as everything went backwards into it. Huuuuge mess. Very unfortunate. Wish they could refund me for the job, too.
One last thing, as someone mentioned- the elbow on the new pump did not match the angle of my car even though it is compatible w my model (08 Honda CR-V). I had to get the elbow off the old pump. New one was useless.
This power steering pump works absolutely perfectly and the price was 1/2 of autozone. I found some very good videos online that made swapping it out fairly easy. The only issue I had on this pump was that I actually had to use the outlet connector from my original pump because the angle of the connector on this pump was the wrong direction to work on the Honda CR-V. But other than that, it was a perfect fit and it works perfectly. If it does not hold up over time, then I will come back and update this review. I don't anticipate any issues with it. The hardest part of replacing was getting the drive belt back on. That has nothing to do with the pump, just letting you know that was the most difficult task of replacing this (required two people)
I did have to reuse the low pressure nozzle from the old pump to have it pointed in the correct direction. I also used OEM Honda o-rings on the inlet and outlet (91345-RDA-A01, 91370-SV4-000).
