The cups are of a softer plastic and they have a scale of 100 to 1000ml embossed on them, as well as a spout. The white strap things (words evade me right now) don't look like they will hold a lot of weight, but for kids to find random things in the house under a pound or two, I'm sure they will be fine.
The included yellow weights come in 10g, 5g and 1g increments
The only issue was I ordered this in the manufacturer box to save packaging and the box was open at my door. Some tape would have gone a long was in the assurance department. But all the contents were there.
Over all I recommend this product. An added plus is this scale is made in India, not China. So that was a pleasant surprise.
There were also no included instructions in case one was wondering for assembly.
