    Let's start with the package came with my ballast literally just in a box. No type of packaging or bubble wrap or packing peanuts, just a ballast in a rather large box. I wondered why someone would ship a ballast that way but I did not try and let this change my view of the actual function. As long as it fits and works that's what I need. This does not fit my 06 Range Rover sport s/c. Part number matches original it claims to fit my car on Amazon as well. However it does function as a ballast, it ignites my bulbs, and matches light harness plug but it will not fit into the housing. The front cover/casing was loose upon arrival. This may have something to due with fitment issues. Tried this ballast along with oem and it seems to be with the plastic tabs that lock it in. Seems as these are a tad shorter than oem hence to why they won't fit. I would be hesitant on pulling the trigger on this ballast seems like rockauto was the better route. This is rather frustrating. Now I'm $80 further away from getting a real replacement.
