I gave this 2 stars because it does technically work for data connections, however several things should be noted for the those individuals with more complex networking needs. The description lists this cable as being stranded copper 24 AWG. First problem is Cat6 should be at least 23AWG, and upon measurement this cable is actually 31AWG (even Cat5e should be 24AWG to be TIA compliant)!
Being both such a small gauge and being stranded copper, this cable is NOT a safe cable to use with Power Over Ethernet. Had the gauge actually been a true 24 AWG and solid copper, this could've been a great cable. The photo shows a comparison of a cross-section of this cable (top) as compared to a Belkin Cat5e flat calbe (bottom), which was labelled as 28AWG and measured the same.
Can this cable physically carry power for Power Over Ethernet, yes. Should it be used, No not safely. Hope this helps someone on the fence, as I had to learn this the hard way.
Quoted Features:
• Category 6 (Class E) Cable
• Cable Type: CAT6 4-Pair UTP
• Outside Diameter: 5.8 ± 0.3 mm (0.23 ± 0.01 inch)
• Connector Type: RJ45
• Conductor Material: 100% Bare Copper
• Contact Plating: 50 Micron Gold Plated
• Conductor Gauge: 24 AWG

As advice to others, this comes in a rolled up form. I've seen other people unspool the whole roll and end up with a confusing wirey mess. Knowing this, I pulled out one end, untying only two of the twisty ties just enough. Then I put the coil back in the plastic bag and closed the seal as much as possible. This way, the cable stays together and you have the controllability to carefully unspool it as you need it. My only error was I could have used a much smaller length. But, for the price difference, I'm keeping it. So I have the rest of the coiled cable in the sealed bag neatly hanging behind my PC. The hooks I used to neatly nail the cables on the window sill and down the wall. This is an excellent product and I'm very happy with my choice. There are some negative views about flat cables from some professional folks but they're talking about heavy usage with servers. This is excellent for my home usage. Final result: Tested my speed and at its at a high of 337.64mbps on my 300mbps plan. Now that I'm finished, I can't see using the thick round cable to accomplish the same good-looking result. And the white color was certainly the right choice. What a good idea this was. 5/5.
The wire is very thin which works perfectly in going around items and under carpets.

The other thing I like about this particular cable is that it is FLAT. Dealing with bulky cables can be a chore. Just straightening them out/getting rid of kinks can take an afternoon... especially at 100 feet or more. But with a flat cable it's easy to direct it as you please. Plus, I don't like a fixed cable as I wander around my house and use different locations to work from home. The flat cable is easy to wind up and store when I'm not using it.
The one warning I would issue would be to make sure you don't get it tangled right away. It comes spooled in the package so I suggest taking advantage of that and unwinded carefully until you get your path figured out. The package comes with velcro ties, twist ties and fasteners if you're looking to fix the cable to a path.
The jury is still out on durability as it's only been 2 weeks but so far it's great. Highly recommend.
