Product Description
A set of two sizes, 7 by 7 inches and 9 by 9 inches, of semi-hoops that control the fabric during free-motion quilting on a standard home sewing machine. Easy to use and extremely light weight. Hold gently with both hands while the bottom surface rests lightly and securely on the fabric. It will retain the desired position in all directions while preventing bunching. Relaxed hand positioning prevents hand wrist and shoulder fatigue. The squared shape allows a greater area to be quilted.

When I was sewing towards me, it went good, but have to move them so often I get out of the rhythm of the design- if that makes sense to you. Going sideways I have to move them even more. I have a 3 yr old viking sapphire.
Holds firmly to the fabric while moving my quilt under the needle.
I use it with my stationary Janome Pro Quilter Versa longarm.
The quilter also needs a very flat, even surface as any little bump will throw the stitches out of alignment.
This quilter probably would work quite well on a machine with a wide sewing bed and set into its own table even with the machine. Therefore, for me I could only give 1 star.
