Customers are mixed about the humidity. Some mention that it removes a good amount of moisture and the locker room smell is gone. It keeps the humidity level about 40% lower than without it, and keeps the cabin dry. However, others say that there is still moisture in the air, it's very slow removing moisture, and moisture in a camper can condense and drip down to hidden places where it can cause mold.

45 customers mention19 positive26 negative

Customers are mixed about the value of the dehumidifier. Some mention it's a great value for the money, while others say it'll only last a year. The price is too high for the performance, and it'd be better to buy a real dehumifier.

"...I think the price is too high for the performance." Read more

"...Of course, it also costs much less and uses much less power...." Read more

"...It is terrible. We have it running all day and it barely captures a tablespoon of water...." Read more

"...Otherwise it is well worth the cost." Read more

42 customers mention16 positive26 negative

Customers are mixed about the drainability of the dehumidifier. Some mention that it pulls out quite a bit of water, while others say that it does not collect much water.

"We bought 2 for our RV but they do not collect much water, about 2 tablespoons, we have a large one and it will collect a gallon of water in a day." Read more

"...I've left this thing run for 8 hours straight and it collects about inch height of water...." Read more

"...I elevated the unit to counter height over a floor drain and it just doesn't drain...." Read more

"...It definitely pulls water out of the air, and can lower the humidity in my bedroom, but not as much as I was hoping, maybe my expectations were too..." Read more

So I got this little machine a few weeks ago and it's working great. I live in a 600sq ft apartment (with one bedroom) and I can definitely say it's working, I was so surprised at home much it collects from the air. Sometimes I've left this thing run for 8 hours straight and it collects about inch height of water. I move it around to the kitchen when I'm cooking and the bathroom when I'm going to take a shower, and in the bedroom sometimes when we go to sleep. I don't really like in in the bedroom though when we're sleeping because the next morning me and my husband wake up with a dry throat, my hubby said he woke up with a dry tongue (I don't really know if it's the machine that's causing it or allergies) so we leave it out most times from the bedroom. It's cord isn't very long so that's another reason why I have to move it around and arrange it to stand close to where I need it. My apartment building has a problem with mold so that's why we bought this little guy. So far I'm happy. I'm buying an air purifier though because I think that will help more get rid of cooking smell that's left over, we have a small place and the kitchen is open to the living room. I'll try to update in a few months. Also the noise is not a problem for us, we almost don't even notice but then again we live on a busy street so we might just be use to it.It would have 5 starts if the cord was longer.Update: 12/2018So we've had this thing for almost a year and it's still running like the first day we got! So happy with it and I might buy another for my living room next to the front door. Right now it's winter in Seattle and with the heat turned up there's a lot of condonation on the door. We live in building where there's a mold problem, but thank goodness to this little guy we haven't had an issues.
