Except they became the emergency — within a few hours my stomach began to cramp. I spent the next full day with sharp pains, akin to a knife in the guts or someone wringing every last drop from a rag made of what was once my functioning intestinal tract. And did I mention the bloat was so bad I couldn’t button my clothes?
The icing on the cake was the audible, belch-like rumblings as 3 small beans continued to have their way with me during their arduous journey. From first to last, it was an awful experience.
Not even worth it. There are plenty of stevia-based candies that satisfy your sweet tooth without turning you into a bloated, gassy corpse on the side of the road, or at least feeling like one.
