Take it Easy with these Stands; reduce your work while you work
This stand is really so good that I am mad that I worked so hard with other lesser folding stands; this product alleviates the annoying legs catching on things, not being able to bring the light all the way to the floor, etc. with typical studio light stands. This is a heavy duty piece of gear that will save you pain; holding your softbox so it doesn't crash to the base while trying to adjust the columns is a thing of the past. You can do this single handedly, smooth and easy. The casters are nice and big, and it wheels about effortlessly. The photo included shows how I've mounted two lights to the arms that come with the stand, and mounted a crossbeam with super clamps above to make a giant light box.I have seen this used with an extra arm to actually mount the camera using it as a lightweight camera stand; I'm tempted to try that too. This is not a "bargain" piece of gear; it is made for serious work; but if you have been using regular folding stands for years and are planning on doing this photography for many more years, you owe it to yourself to "take it easy" with these stands....reduce the work of putting light where you need it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Pole doesn’t adjust, wheel not attached
Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2021
First of all, one of the wheels was not attached upon arrival to me. At first I couldn’t find the bolt but when I shook the box, it fell out. But there was no nut to tighten the bolt so I had to run to the hardware store to get one. It’s really hard to get the nut through the tiny hole to attach it to the bolt. Im guessing it fell out of a hole in the box it arrived in somewhere in transit. Once I got the wheels figured out I attached the extra pole which is not adjustable by the way. So I either shoot with my light crashing into the ceiling in order to be able to tilt my plm downward or take the extra steel pole out completely which won’t work for photos of adults. For newborns or small kids it’s ok but ridiculous design for trying to photograph adults. Disappointed that I paid $300 for this and it’s not usable for what I need. I’m considering getting my money back and sending the product back to them in their awful box.
