I was having issues shooting 300+ image macrophotography focus stacks. My wireless trigger and strobe were giving me black frames. Another photographer recommended I try isolating the problem by using a sync cable.

Since my Canon T4i doesn't natively allow a sync cable I needed an adapter.

And now when I come back to return it it says that window of time is closed. I am very disappointed. There is nothing wrong with this unit, in fact it is a great price for what it is but.... Canon communicates to the flashes through the center terminal. When you use the pc output with a canon flash mounted on it it fires off the strobes connected to the remotes when the flash sends data to the camera. If you just need a hot shoe adapter it is just fine. If you use a generic flash that will not "talk" to the camera you should be just fine. When you get yours open it up and tighten the 3 screws that hold the lower hot shoe. As other people have said, it does come loose and then it makes your flash unstable.
