I bought this when we were going to do a glass tile backsplash but changed our minds. I did, however use it for glass bathroom mosaic and it cut the glass beautifully with a sacrificial tile backer. The attached photos show the results on a test piece however, I can't remember if I used the backer tile to cut with the Delta blade that came with my saw. Note: it cuts very slowly and not particularly better than the Delta on ceramic or porcelain tile.

This is my first experience with glass tile, so my observations are going to be slightly skewed by cutting normal tile. The blade performed well, which is to say it didn't chip on the surface of the tile and was still making clean cuts at the end. I did about 35 sq ft of back splash in 3x6 inch glass subway tile. This was complicated by 15 switches or outlets that I either had to notch the end of the tile or notch right in the middle of the tile. I did this by making numerous small teeth and then braking them off with a pliers (I used a grozing pliers for stained glass, which I used to do), and then used the wet saw to notch out the remaining shards. It is a laborious process but effective. I broke only one piece of tile while cutting and I think that one may have been caused by a shard that got underneath the tile while I was cutting.

The reason I deducted a star: Like some others, I've noticed that the blade seems to wear relatively fast. My blade had worn significantly by the end of the back splash, but still had plenty left. The feed rate had seemed to slow down significantly from when it was new, but it was still making the cuts, no chipping. If you have an inexpensive wet saw, I could see this causing a possible binding problem. I was running the blade in an MK Diamond 101 wet saw, which has way more than enough power.

The plus to this is that its half the price of most other blades.

The bottom line: For home projects, this is great. If you're a full time professional, you might want to spring for something a bit better (and significantly more expensive).

Make sure to use wet saw. Keep it full. I let it get low a few times and saw sparks. Also cuts poorly when its low for the same reasons. A little pricey, but that's not Amazon's fault. Home Depot was charging around the same price. Saved me the cost of having someone else do the work. $30 for the blade. I already own the wet saw. Did my whole kitchen and the blade is being saved for another time.

Ordered with Skil wet saw for kitchen backsplash work. Skil saw came with a diamond tile blade that splintered glass. This blade cuts glass fairly cleanly and leaves a reasonable surface at the cut. Normally did not have to grind cut glass tiles' corner to avoid cutting fingers, and sawed edge was not shiny, but smooth. If you need them polished, get something else to do so.

Used it to cut uneven hammered glass tiles for a backsplash project. Cut very clean and quickly .
Would probably exceed performance on regular ceramic tiles, maybe next project.

I purchased this blade for laying tile in my kitchen and laundry room. I was a little hesitant due to some of the reviews I read but tried it anyway. I was pleasantly surprise because this blade cut all my tile accurately and with no chipping whatsoever. Possibly another blade would have cut faster but that was a non-issue for me. I would not hesitate to purchase this one again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic blade for porcelain!
Reviewed in Canada on September 21, 2021
I used this blade to make my bathroom shower. The tiles I cut were 12x24 porcelain and this blade has performed great!
I am not an expert at tiling, just a DIYer.
The blade was installed on my mastercraft sliding table cutter (great saw by the way).
To other reviewers complaining about the blade becoming dull, you must use a dressing stone from time to time to refresh the diamond bits! There are great videos on youtube that shows how. It is the same stone used to sand the tile edges after cutting.
Any blade will do that, it is a normal process.
After my project, the blade still has plenty of life left.
I recommend this blade.

I was looking for a quality wet saw blade without breaking the bank as my local big box store was about 45$ without compromising my tiles. This is a great blade, cuts like a hot knife in butter and a clean cut! I will buy another one after this project as these blades are good for about 1 project only. I would highly recommend this wet saw blade.
