Outer packaging displayed damage, but, as it turned out, this was sacrificial packaging and it did it's job. There was no damage whatsoever to any pieces. It was packaged very well.
Assembly - all parts lined up, and by following the instructions to the letter the unit was built within an hour of finishing my wine and reading.
As a seasoned flat packed furniture builder I would like to stress it is important to:
Always read and re-read instructions before unpacking (yes I am a bloke!)
Check all the parts are there,
Separate the hardware into as many small containers as are practical - I used 3 plastic carry-out containers I save for such jobs
Make plenty of space - try to use a vacuumed rug or carpet
Get your tools ready - this just needed a screwdriver and hammer -
If using a power driver set the torque *** LOW *** Mine was 5
Take it slowly and always refer back to instructions
Pros
It went together well - good instructions
Looks good - Wife likes it!!
Plenty of space for my AV components
Sturdy when built
Cons - all minor
Parts were not numbered - but diagrams were good enough
Panels could have also had orientation indicators such as arrows
Back panel needs black edging - I'm going to need to get out the paint
Back panel could have had nailing points indicated - just a thought to help folk who don't do this often
Further to my prior review - I placed my HTPC in the unit and the beastie got really hot even with the doors open - I am looking for a suitable fan unit for both the PC compartment and Receiver compartment. I will need to have inlet fans in the lower and at least a vent in the top of the rear panel of each compartment. The back is MDF so this should not be too much of an issue.
I am still very happy with the console as a whole and it really looks great in the room. I will post pics after the mod.
I was able to put this together by myself, taking my sweet time, in a couple of hours. Have plenty of room to lay everything out and rotate the unit as you're building it, and it goes together easy. Instructions were clear and there was no missing hardware. A second set of hands would make it a piece of cake.
Overall this thing is a beast when it's finished, but rolls around easily on the casters when you need to get behind it. Finish is great, and although it's not on the same level as say, a $5k+ piece of hardwood furniture, it does not by any means look like a cheap pressboard unit that you'd get at WM. I think it looks great sitting under my 100" projector screen.
It has plenty of room for all of our game consoles, DVR, amp, and modem. Definitely consider mounting a couple of USB cooling fans on the back of each cell depending on what you have in them, especially if you're like me and don't like leaving the glass doors open all the time. Do 1 for intake and 1 for exhaust, and all of your components will be happy.

PROs
1) about 1" higher than my old stand, which was nice with the larger TV
2) shelf for sound bar is unique; with curved TVs there is usually no space for both TV and soundbar on same shelf
3) Customer service is fantastic
4) they went to great efforts for safe mailing: Styrofoam, heavy duty corner ribs;
5) tinted and tempered glass
6) extra space for my DVDs,I use the bays on the ends for that and the two middle bays for equipment
I bought six of these ASIN: B01G91VIT0 to hold DVDs. I can put three of these side by side in each bay.
I bought half dollar sized sticky felt pads from HomeDepot to put on the bottom of each container.
Attach in each corner of the storage bin. I have about 125 DVDs and I have room for more in my bins.
mDesign Household Storage Bin for DVDs, PS4 and Xbox Video Games - Pack of 2, Large, Clear
7) there is a decent amount of shelf space behind the sound bar back to hold a power strip and my Ethernet switch
CONs
1) in my unit the bottom shelf had a hairline scratch, it was visible if you open the doors
Customer service sent me a new one extremely fast. Great service!
2) there are foam door handles to move the glass sliders, these can come off easily
You probably have to pinch these in to make for a tighter fit and ;
It probably wouldn't hurt to put 1 or two drops (no more) of 4-in-1 oil on bottom of each slider where the friction is to make them slide easier.
3) the surface is a veneer that appears to scratch relatively easily.
Which is one of the reasons why company spent so much time and cost on packing for safe shipment.
Ive move things around on the top of it. ie my TV and it'd not scratching actually. But because of the hairline scratch Im skeptical.
It could have been like that during shipment or even before packaging. I dont see any new scratches on surface because of me.
So it looks like its pretty tough surface. Time will tell. Ive only had this unit for a couple weeks now.
I do recommend this stand.

sinon ce TV Stand est un must have !
Once assembled it is a very solid unit, and certainly up to holding our 65 inch panel quite easily.
The only real thing that dissatisfies are the door handles. They use a single-sided sticky foam tape that doesn't want to stick to either the glass, or the inside of the metal handles they are intended for. As a result the handles simply slip and slide to the bottom of the doors. Can probably address this with some adhesive or possibly gently squeezing the handles to close and tighten them against the foam and the glass, but have not done this yet.
The one con so far is very poor ventilation for AV equipment. PS4 was overheating so I have had to take it out and put it on top by the speaker and keep the glass open where the AVR is. I'm probably going to invest into some cooling fans and install them.
