Perfect for inspecting 7.3 Powerstroke rods!

Perfect for inspecting 7.3 Powerstroke rods!
As an owner of a 2001 Ford F-250 with the 7.3 Powerstroke diesel, I was extremely curious as to whether my truck was equipped with the sturdier forged rods found in the OBS trucks and the 1999/2000s, or if I had the more brittle powdered metal rods used on the 2002/2003 trucks. Now they say you should be able to tell which ones you have based on your engines serial #, but enough sources have proven this method as being less than 100 percent reliable/accurate, so all that was left was for me to take a look with my own two peepers.Which brought me to the inspection port..Upon first glance at the square shaped opening, I was sure that in my many a'toolboxes and jars that I would have some type of attachment or socket wrench or material that I would be able to wedge in there and make do..But I was wrong. Way wrong! It didn't matter how much loosening spray or how hard I hammered an item into the opening or how tightly I squeezed on pliers trying to hold said item, it wouldn't budge!Which brought me to this bad boy! Let me tell you, the ease of which I was able to open port using this tool was flat out embarrassing after all the effort I had put into everything else. It was a piece of cake! Wish I had just done it right from the start!(For the record, I had forged rods. Score!)
