That said, I do have both types of saws and this blade cuts very well for the low cost price point. I’ve made a few hundred cuts and am starting to notice some dulling but no lost teeth yet. I’ve used other blade brands and this one does not have the same longevity but for the price, it’s what I’d expect. If you are doing production work this probably isn’t the right blade for you. But if like me, you are a weekend shop warrior/welder/fabricator, this blade is a good bargain and cuts well. I learned the hard way with other more expensive blades that you can’t abuse these blades. Gently start the cut and apply even down force that doesn’t bog down the motor and these blades will last. Secure the cut pieces and cut off a minimum length so the waste doesn’t get pulled back into the saw. I would buy this blade again.
