Perfect fit. You just need to drill the holes opposite of the screw side so you can use a screwdriver to get them on. I used a step drill so a long Phillips screwdriver can be used and get enough pressure to get the wood screw to start. Looks very nice with my Maytag stainless microwave.

Installation a Real Pain.

These are almost impossible to attach with the supplied screws. (Or any other screws, for that matter.)

First of all, the screws are tiny. If your fingers are ten inches long and no thicker than a pencil, you may be able to hold the screw between your fingers.

Second, there is no way to directly get to the screw except through a tiny hole on the opposite side of the flange. I had to go out and buy a screwdriver with a blade that was narrow enough to fit through the hole while still being long enough to reach the screw. The reason is that these flanges are meant to be used on either side so the holes are only large enough to keep the screw head from going completely through.

Did I mention the screws were tiny?

Third, I was installing this over an existing gas cook top installed over a cabinet base, so trying to actually see the connection between the screwdriver and the screw was impossible. Everything had to be done by feel. And in an awkward position, I might add. I had to have the wife help by holding the filler panels, while I tried to contort into a position that my body really didn't like and tell her - repeatedly - to hold it steady. (Note: my wife wouldn't talk to me for a couple of hours after. Your experience may be better. Or worse.)

If you have access by being able to remove your range so you can get right into the install area, you might find it easier to install than I did.

It does what is says it's for. In my case, it was because I had to replace a 36 inch over the range microwave and discovered they don't make 36 inch microwaves anymore. After the experience, though, I think I would have been smarter to just accept that there would be a gap on each side of the new microwave.
