Product Description

There's nothing that says summer more than a vine-ripened tomato, and Weston Deluxe electric tomato strainer allows you to process and preserve the flavors of summer to enjoy the whole year through. And it's not for just tomatoes. 3 strainer sizes (tomato/Berry - 1 mm), (Pumpkin -3 mm), (salsa - 6mm) makes it easy to process large batches of berries, Pumpkins and other fruits for canning sauces, jams & salsa. A powerful 250 watt motor makes easy work of processing, and a reverse function prevents jamming. The large hopper holds a gallon of produce.

Soo much applesauce!

Soo much applesauce!
After years of using a manual version, this year was the first we used this electric model to make applesauce. There was so little waste and the end product was still so nice and thick! It was so nice not to have to crank the manual one and be able to keep working on other things while the machine did some of the work.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not the best for Heirloom Tomatoes
Reviewed in Canada on February 13, 2024
This product works great, processed a little over 60 pounds of tomatoes I had in freezer from the last years harvest. You can't run frozen tomatoes or half frozen through unit but defrosted over night and they ran through machine just fine.
I will say this though...with my larger heirloom tomatoes like big beef the screen does plug up very quickly due to the thicker skin, what is nice though is the machine is very easy to clean so it was not a problem. Had to clean screen and machine every 15 pounds of tomatoes but it was worth it because the sauce was so clean, no skin and only the the really small seeds were in sauce.
