Increase Protection with a No Fly Zone

Add an extra layer of protection to your horse's health with Farnam's No Fly Zone horse products. These products help keep insects away from your horse's face and body, act as a safeguard against six types of flies, gnats, mosquitoes, lice, and deer ticks and prevent the development of house and stable flies.

Easy-to-feed, Alfalfa-based Pellets

SimpliFly Feed-Thru Fly Control comes in a highly palatable pellet mixture that will blend right in with your horse's feed. Simply top-dress the product on grain or mix with the horse's total daily ration. The feed will pass through your horse unabsorbed and only affect the manure.

Reduce the Fly Population All Season

Target flies at the source and interrupt their lifecycle with SimpliFly Feed-Thru Fly Control. With daily feeding, this product will prevent flies from developing in your horse's manure. The result is a significant decline in the number of house and stable flies around your barn.

Product Description

When flies are a menace in your stable, it’s time to target them at their source – your horse’s manure. If not treated, the manure from one horse has the potential to produce tens of thousands of flies in a single day. Introduce SimpliFly Feed-Thru Fly Control to your horse’s daily diet, and suddenly you’re turning the favorite breeding grounds of stable and house flies into a No Fly Zone. When fed daily, SimpliFly Feed-Thru Fly Control breaks the fly lifecycle by preventing fly larvae from developing in a horse’s manure. This fly growth regulator is made without organophosphates and will pass through your horse’s body unabsorbed. The feed will instead excrete the active ingredient diflubenzuron into their manure, preventing it from being a viable breeding ground. This product can be effectively started anytime during fly season, but for best results, beginning daily feeding in early spring before fly season is optimal. SimpliFly Feed-Thru Fly Control is a highly palatable mixture that your horse will readily eat and easily mixes in with their daily feed. As part of an integrated, pest management program, you can see a significant decline in this season’s fly population. Keep your stable happy and target the fly problem at its source with SimpliFly Feed-Thru Fly Control. Bugs don’t fly with Farnam, your partner in horse care.

Directions

DO NOT USE ON HORSES INTENDED FOR SLAUGHTER Feed the recommended dosage of Farnam® SimpliFly® Feed-Thru Fly Control to each horse separately to make certain he receives his full portion. This product should be fed top dressed on grain or mixed with the horse's total ration to provide 6.8 mg of diflubenzuron per 100 lbs. of body weight. For an occasional finicky eater who does not accept new feeds readily, mix this product with sweet feed or grain ration. Start feeding Farnam® SimpliFly® Feed-Thru Fly Control early in the spring before flies begin to appear and continue feeding throughout the summer and into the fall until cold weather restricts fly activity. This product contains an insect growth regulator which prevents the development of house flies and stable flies in the manure of treated horses but is not effective against existing adult flies. In some cases, supplemental fly control measures may be needed in and around paddocks and buildings to control adult house and stable flies which can breed in other decaying vegetable matter or silage on-premises, or that migrate in from other areas. Farnam® SimpliFly® Feed-Thru Fly Control should be used as part of an integrated pest management program aimed at reducing fly populations in the horse's environment. Consult your retailer for program recommendations. In order to achieve optimum fly control, this product should be used in conjunction with other premise and on-animal products as well as good management and sanitation practices.. Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal. PESTICIDE STORAGE: Store in original container in a cool dry place inaccessible to children and pets. PESTICIDE DISPOSAL: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility. CONTAINER HANDLING: Nonrefillable container. Do not muse or refill This container. Completely empty plastic bucket by shaking and tapping sides and bottom to loosen clinging particles. Then offer for recycling if available or dispose of in a sanitary landfill or by incineration or if allowed by state and local authorities by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke.. Fly control
Easy to feed, seems to taste good, one has to feed only very little with regular food. What is most important though is that it gets the job done. In conjunction with another fly control product, we had about 85-90% of flies less, which meant the horses were not quite as annoyed by flies all spring, summer and now fall long. I wish I had started SimpliFly sooner than April. Will buy again definitely for next year.
