Upon unboxing, I could see how everything was beautifully organized and packaged. Could see and feel product sturdiness also. I immediately reached for the instructions. They were perfect diagrams and clearly outlined instructions within the booklet. Here are some tips I have for future buyers:
• Do follow instructions laid out in booklet and build the cage first. That allowed me to visually see how the product would fit in my space.
• DO PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO PICTURES/DIAGRAMS. I had to reconfigure the product 3 times before I finally realized that I made a mistake. What wouldve been a 20min build was more like 1.5hrs. The building of the cage was the most confusing part but take your time, it will all make sense.
• DO have a small towel or rag handly. When separating metal sliders there is oil that becomes exposed and will get on your hands.
• DO keep your pots handy while putting in metal clips so that you can adjust in the moment and not have to remove everything and start over after blindly placing clips on rack. I did not have space for my big soup pot but thats ok, I fit all my other pots/pans and lids. Also, customizing size for pots/pans in the moment is also a good idea because it also helps you adjust pots to fit handles.
• DO get a small under the cabinet light if you want even faster easy access
There were mixed reviews about prpduct fully extending past cabinet frame and I'm happy to report that mine does indeed fully extend past the frame.
All in all, get the product! Someone complained that you lose cabinet space. It depends on how wide your cabinets are, some people were able to still fit items on the sides. In my case, I did lose an entire cabinet, but that the whole point. It was a "junk cabinet" and I made it into something functional.
Get it! You wont be disappointed!
