Product Description

New Professional 58MM Rubber Lens Hood + Tulip Flower Hood

Hoods provide extra protection from accidental bumps or scratches thanks to high quality materials.

Soft but extremely durable, providing flexibility and protection.

Good Tulip, slight problem with rubber hood, great cleaning cloth and vendor!
4 Stars
Good Tulip, slight problem with rubber hood, great cleaning cloth and vendor!
First, the Tulip works fine. It could be a tad snugger in the way it fits, but if you own a Nikon P900 you have to have a filter on first or you won't be able to thread it on as the lens retracts too far into the camera. The rubber hood was another story. The first one I got was improperly molded and I contacted DIgital Goja, who was amazing in that they responded to my e-mail ( picture included ) in 20 minutes and sent another right away. Unfortunately, the replacement was identical. Since I now had two, I had nothing to lose and I decided to apply a lot of force and twist the rubber hood around the metal threads so the the part sticking out the most would be on top instead of the side. Not easy, but doable. It ended up fine and I don't mind the unevenness on the top. Since the price of these two pieces is so low, the tulip works fine, and the cleaning cloth is above average at removing oily fingerprints, I find it hard to give them a low rating for a solvable problem and the vendor, Digital Goja, was excellent in their response to my problem in spite of their less-than-perfect 67mm rubber hood inventory. I am including a picture so you can see the nature of the problem and decide if this will bother you or not, considering it can be corrected ( different sized threads may not have this problem ) and the extra low price!
