Product Description
Brand new heavy duty, 26 Amp LEFOO 95-125 PSI air compressor, pressure switch, control valve with a 4 port connection manifold. The switch listed is a universal replacement pressure switch that replaces brands such as Furnas , Square-D and more. This switch is equipped with an unloader valve, on / off lever, and a four port mounting manifold. This is similar to the regular 4 port pressure switch, but this switch is equipped with heavy duty 26Amp contacts to provide a longer lasting switch in demanding applications. The four port manifold gives you the option to mount in it any direction and to also have the option to add a relief valve, gauge, or multiple air outlet ports. These Ports can also be plugged if not needed which is what makes this switch a great universal replacement pressure switch. The unloader equipped on this switch is used to unload the air pressure off the head of the compressor when the compressor shuts off, this way when it starts there is no pressure on the piston and the compressor is able to start load free. This valve usually has a 1/4" plastic or copper line that runs to the check valve or the head of the compressor. If your compressor does not have a unloader line then this valve can be left not hooked up and the pressure switch will still function properly. This switch can be used on a single stage or two stage compressor as long as the amperage is less than 26 amps on 120 volt or 20 amps on 240 volt, however if this is being used with a magnetic starter on a larger compressor the amperage does not matter, in this case it is just used to turn the starter on & off at the set pressure. This switch comes pre set to turn the compressor on at 95 psi and shut off at 125 psi. This can be adjusted to any pressure within the factory minimum and maximum set points listed below. We have a picture showing the diagram for pressure adjustment.

There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
I purchased this switch for an old Craftsman air compressor (mid-90's) with a made in the USA Campbell Hausfeld compressor. The switch that came with the compressor was cutting out at 135 PSI which is higher than I need and was taxing the compressor to get the last 10 lbs. Since the switch could not be adjusted I decided to replace it with a new switch that has a 125 PSI cutout.
I was hesitant to buy the Lefoo switch considering an OEM replacement is close to $100. But I could not justify the cost for a used compressor that cost me only $200. After reading the reviews I decided to make the purchase knowing I could just return it if it was cheaply made or did not work.
Ends up it's a pretty well made switch. Yes the cover is somewhat cheap plastic, but the inside mechanism seems solid. The four port manifold allows for a very flexible installation and made it easy to add a gauge, safety relieve valve and regulator assembly.
My only complaint is; while it was cutting out at 125 PSI as designed, it was cutting in at 85 PSI instead of 90 PSI as advertised which is a bit too low for my needs. The instruction for how to adjust this are on the inside cover of the switch plus another reviewer explains it in the Questions section for this device. At any rate, I was able to adjust the switch to cut in at 95 PSI and still cut out at 125 PSI. Works perfectly now. So if I could rate it 4-1/2 stars I would, but given the price and quality of the switch, plus the fact it can be adjusted....well five stars is warranted IMO.
Time will tell how long the switch will last, but based on the quality and feedback from other reviewers and how much I plan to use it, I suspect it will last a long time. If not, it's not a lot of money to spend versus $50 - $100 or more for some of the other supposedly "higher end" switches that did not even get as many positive reviews.
Update June 17, 2022
Everything seemed to work okay for a while but then the unloader (or so I thought) started to randomly malfunction so the compressor would hang trying to start under the load, which would trip the circuit breaker if it was left unattended. Of course it started to get worse and became a real problem when I was using the compressor for the project which I purchased it for in the first place - very frustrating. When it does reach the set pressure it shuts off and the unloader just leaks letting all the air out.
At this point I am not sure if I should just try another one, or spend the money for one that cost three times as much. In the end I might have just gotten a defective switch since, like I noted in my original review, it is a well made switch. Either way I can no longer give it a five star rating since I am out the original money and can no longer return it, plus the time it took me to install it, plus the inconvenience I have had to deal with due to this faulty switch. So even if I do buy another one and take the chance, I cannot give this a high rating. Try at your own risk IMO.
Update July 10th, 2022
I did end up buying a second switch and installed it, but still had the problem I noted above. Well it appears the switch was not the issue. After some additional testing and research I found out the check valve was malfunctioning. I assumed it was not the check valve since I replaced that the same time I installed the first switch and since there is not much to a check valve, I ruled it out. I come to find out the leaking at the unloader is an indication the check valve is not functioning properly - which I should have known.
Anyway, I removed the almost new check valve and cleaned it with brake cleaner and it still did not work. Just for the heck of it I tried this test; when I had the compressor up to operating pressure and it shut off, I removed the unloader line at the pressure switch and it continued to leak air from the check valve. But when I removed the unloader line at the check valve, it closed with a snap. So it appeared there was not enough air moving through the unloader line to allow the check valve to close and the unloader line was the original one that came with the compressor. This indicated to me the check valve was not the correct design for the type of unloader system the pressure switch had - which was the same as the original.
Since I did not have any documentation for the air compressor and could not find anything definitive on the internet, I could only pick a check valve based on how it matched the configuration of the original so it would at least fit. But the test showed me it was not the correct one. I eventually decided to purchase a different type of check valve that uses springs and a diaphragm versus a ball and check type which was the style of the fist one I tried. Once I installed the new style check valve everything is working as it should.
My compressor, started to continually release air, out of the "unloader valve." I thought the pressure switch was bad so I ordered this same model Lefoo Pressure Switch Control, that originally came on my air compressor. After installing it, the same problem was still there. My compressor, was still continually releasing air, out of the "unloader valve."
I traced the small air line, from the "unloader" valve, to the check valve on the top of the tank. Upon removing the tank check valve, I discovered a small piece of rust debris, that was preventing the check valve from sealing shut. I was not aware that when the check valve doesn't seal properly, it leaks air through that small air line and out of the "unloader" valve. Needless to say, I did not need a new pressure switch. However, I was not about to un-install this new one that now works perfectly.
I will add a few tips: Get yourself a little dish soap and a tooth brush. Put a little of the soap in a small cup of water and stir it up with the tooth brush. Pick up the suds on the tooth brush and apply it to the fittings that you are working on. It will show even a tiny air leak by making bubbles in the suds. There is one negative on this Lefoo Pressure Switch Control, that one can easily correct. There is a small on/off switch lever on the side of the control. It seems to work backwards. Down is on and Up is off. After installation, it is impossible to read any on/off markings for this confusing switch. I took my Brother label printer and made some large, professional, on/of indicators for it. Another item is the instructions to set the pressure switch to your desired on/off pressure settings. I had to go online to see better instructions on how to adjust the settings. Overall, this is a nice pressure switch for the price. I would purchase it again if needed.
The switch works correctly and reaches 125 psi before shutting off. At 90 psi the switch activates and runs the compressor. There was no need to adjust the settings. All you need to do is wire the switch to the terminals inside the service cover. and screw the cover back on. Again, just don't unscrew any of the four screws attached to the manifold.
I got one at Tractor supply but that was the wrong one. I ordered one from Amazon that claimed to be a direct replacement but it wasn't even close. Didn't even have the connections for my safety valve or gauge.
Finally this one came in and it matched everything perfectly.
I replaced it and wired it up and stood back in case it blew up. :)
Man! It is like brand new again. I am so happy with this switch.
