Frequently Asked Questions

single panel purchase

Can I install screens independently from each other or next to each other in a straight line?

It is possible to install screens independently or next to each other in a straight line, but please note that the no-dig stakes are designed to work only when the screens are installed at a right angle to each other. If you would prefer to install your screens next to each other you must use cement to secure the posts into the ground or your unit will likely fall over with heavy winds.

Can I install multiple units next to each other?

Yes, you can purchase multiple units and install them together. This unit is designed to be fully scalable. Please note that this kit only includes 2 panels per unit purchased. Contact Enclo Privacy Screens if you have any questions regarding the proper way to install multiple units next to each other. Please note that these privacy screens are not designed to take the place of privacy fencing.

Can I Purchase 1 Panel?

Yes! To purchase 1 single panel, please visit the manufacturer's website.

Great product - Difficult to assemble
OK, so the end product was fantastic, but these panels were not easy. The first one I attempted took 2 hours and I had to start over twice. While the instructions aren't awful, they are hard to figure out. There's an important little clue that isn't mentioned in the directions. (See it in the third pic from the left.) There's a small outward notch, about 1/4" square-ish, that's on the inside, and at the TOP, of all 4 vertical poles. Make sure you have that at the bottom as you assemble it as shown...which is upside down. It's there for a good reason...to hold the top 4 caps on, which is the last step. I wasn't paying attention and had that pole upside down, at the bottom. Everything else on the side poles are identical, except for those little notches. So I had to take all of the slats out, disassemble everything and start all over. I also made the mistake of putting the middle horizontal, slat-holding beam, at the top. Oy-Vey! So that's what took me so long. Figuring out what was wrong and redoing it. So I thought the second lattice would be a snap to assemble...especially since I'd made so many errors (teaching moments) from the first one. But the 2nd one still took over an hour to put together. Here's a lesson I learned on that part. After sliding in all of the slats in the lower two horizontal bars, (see pic on the right) lay the whole assembly on the floor so you can move the slats up a smidge, from the bottom to fit into the top-bar horizontal slat holes. Gravity is not your friend if you try to do this while the assemble is vertical. This will make more sense when you get to this step.I'm not a novice at putting things together, but I did find most steps on this seemingly easy job difficult to do. Mostly b/c the instructions weren't that clear...and I effed up a bunch. However, it was worth the effort and looks great. I put the finished project in an L formation to block out our swimming pool heat pump. One last little thing that really makes this project shine is this.... I bought some plastic "leaves"...on Amazon of course, that come in 20" squares, 8 to a box. They fit the 48" lattice perfectly and can be easily attached with plastic ties to give the screen a fabulous look. (See pics 1 and 2 for examples.) Even without that extra foliage to hide whatever you want to hide, the 'picket screen' would have looked good. If you're a good DIY person you won't have any problems...but you do have to follow their directions...even those not mentioned.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what I was looking for…
Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2022
Turns out to be exactly what I was looking for, is sturdy, attractive and detracts from ugly electrical boxes. Easy enough to put together EXCEPT they do not drill a hole through the metal stakes. Although they include a drillbit it’s not an easy task and I feel it should have been done prior to sending. Also, we were missing one of the stakes but when I called the company they were fantastic. Friendly, helpful and it went out the same morning.

Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2021
I'm not sure what the reviewers meant when they said hard to assemble, I put this thing together In 30 minutes at my kitchen table while using the 60 second video provided in the pictures of this item.. I think honestly a 10 year old could have assembled this. I never write reviews but I am impressed at the quality, price, and ease of assembly. It hides my AC unit very well and matches my white privacy fence!
