did not fit my bissell upright model 6579-2, though it should have. Refund would only provide less than 50% (e.g. ~ $5.73). I decided to keep it just for the foam pre-filters which did fit.

When I open the box it's looked same as original, it's little tricky to fit inside the vacuum but it does fit and it's been working great.
