Alrighty so I was definitely iffy on getting this divider just because of the reviews! The people that bought this said the divider does not fit their tanks. Of course it will not fit your tank and the company knows that, it's a for many different tanks out there with many different dimensions. No warranty after you cut any part of it to customize to your tank.
One thing most people lack is common sense. **Do NOT cut any part of the divider to the inside dimension of your tank!!!!** I have a 10 gallon glass aquarium. The dimensions of a regular cheap Wally World 10gal tank is 20-1/4" X 10-1/2" X 12-9/16"
With that being said, do not cut a 1/4" off EACH SIDE (which is a 1/2" all together) just to fit inside your tank! It needs suction to stay in place! I only cut off 1/4" on ONE side and it's perfect! (Or you can cut 1/8" on both sides you just pick!)
Yes I had to customize mine to fit but it definitely was super easy as long as you have the correct tools. I used a dremel tool with a cut off wheel to customize mine. I did not use the top part of the divider just because I did not want to ruin anything just in case because I would also have to customize that also so I just left it with the 3 pieces instead of 4.
Over all AMAZING! It keeps my two male Bettas away from each other! I love it and most likely buying myself another one in the near future so I can have a second tank for females! 😊

It definitely works great for my bettas! I have two 10 gallon tanks so I split both in half with the divider. The only downside is that my tanks were apparently too small (I got the Top Fin brand 10 gallon tank kit) so I had to use the bottom suction part as a side suction part and have no bottom suction in my tank. So now I just have to side pieces as extra. The divider also sticks have a little too high for my tank so the Lynne doesn't sit perfectly but it doesn't stick up enough to be noticeable so it works out. They do warn you that it might not fully fit depending on tank but I just thought it would be good to think about it before purchasing. Hope my review helped!! I still would recommend as I split my 10gals to foster my beautiful bettas!
