14 customers mention9 positive5 negative

Customers are mixed about the heat distribution of the countertop burner. Some mention that the water heats amazingly quick, and the heat in the pans gets amazingly hot very quickly. However, others say that it has poor heat distribution, and that the temperature control is impossible. It heats only the smaller ring and does not heat to outer rings. It overheats and the power settings are difficult to set.

Rugged! Boils water super fast!

Rugged! Boils water super fast!
Bottom line, the CuiSunyo 240v induction cooktop is a very helpful addition to my kitchen. I'll probably use it very frequently and appreciate the speed in which it heats things up and boils water, but will still use the gas range when I need wide, even heat distribution or fine temperature controls on the low-mid end of the heat spectrum. In that regard, this cooktop is a bit of a luxury in my case since I already have a perfectly functional 120v tabletop induction cooktop. The CuiSunyo cooktop is built quite ruggedly with its metal enclosure and sturdy feet. The fan is acceptably loud when running full power, and is mostly drowned out by my (louder than I want it to be) range hood. It has a NEMA 6-20 plug (requires a grounded 240v, at least 20amp outlet; no neutral wire required). The power controls allow you to select watts or select a temperature. The selectable powers are:3500 watts2800 watts2300 watts2000 watts1700 watts1400 watts1000 watts (through modulating 1400 watts on/off)500 watts (through modulating 1400 watts on/off)I verified this with manual measurements of the input voltage and amperage and it checks out with less than 1% error margin (ie. 234 volts x 14.89 amps = 3484 watts). The selectable temperatures are:465°F430°F400°F355°F300°F250°F195°F140°FI haven't done any testing yet on how accurately it holds temperature or how the cooktop behaves in this mode, but imagine it's best suited for heating large quantities, not individual portions. The diameter of the heating area, or the ring of fire, is about 6". I measured this empirically with boiling a shallow pan of water and measuring the circle that bubbled. I also cooked some potstickers using the CuiSunyo and it did an adequate job but didn't get the edges of my pan very well--in the future I'll finish browning them on the gas range whenever I'm able to.I did a few tests to compare it to my other induction cooktop, a Duxtop 1800W Portable Induction Cooktop Countertop Burner, Gold 9120MC/BT-M20B.I used a 2qt ikea saucepan & lid and 500 mL of room temperature water. The CuiSunyo took 86 seconds to bring the water to a rolling boil (extremely violent boil, I'll add). The Duxtop took 221 seconds to bring the water to a rolling boil. I need to mention that the Duxtop only pulled 1400 Watts on full power, despite being advertised as an 1800 Watt cooktop.Where I see this shining is a convenient, indoor-safe alternative to using a large gas burner for deep frying or home brewing. However, despite a gas burner's inefficiencies vs electric/induction, a 65,000 BTU gas burner still has the equivalent of roughly 7800 Watts of heating and will take less than half time time of the CuiSunyo if you use it where you already have adequate ventilation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Portable double induction cooktop burner excellent for our needs
Reviewed in the United States on November 8, 2023
The CUISUNYO 1800W Double Induction Cooktop burner was purchased to replace a single induction stove which lasted about 11 years. This essentially doubled our indoor cooking and/or food heating capability, and is definitely much more efficient and obviously preferred for use compared to our new 4-burner range & oven as well as our outdoor high capacity 2-burner gas stove. Our collection of stainless steel cookware are once again in full use because of the new Cuisunyo induction cooktop. Hopefully this cooktop will also last 10 years or longer!

It has a NEMA 6-20 plug (requires a grounded 240v, at least 20amp outlet; no neutral wire required).

The power controls allow you to select watts or select a temperature. The selectable powers are:
3500 watts
2800 watts
2300 watts
2000 watts
1700 watts
1400 watts
1000 watts (through modulating 1400 watts on/off)
500 watts (through modulating 1400 watts on/off)
I verified this with manual measurements of the input voltage and amperage and it checks out with less than 1% error margin (ie. 234 volts x 14.89 amps = 3484 watts).

The selectable temperatures are:
465°F
430°F
400°F
355°F
300°F
250°F
195°F
140°F
I haven't done any testing yet on how accurately it holds temperature or how the cooktop behaves in this mode, but imagine it's best suited for heating large quantities, not individual portions.
