Well I wish I'd gotten them earlier in the season. So far I've used them to start some cucumbers I hadn't had a chance to get in the ground during the spring. So far their growing great. They seem to be starting to catch up with some of the earlier planted cukes. I haven't dug them up to see how well the disintegrated Before they were planted they did really well holding up to watering and sitting in the sun. The cukes I had in them seemed to be growing alright. Or course not too big since their limited by being in such a small planter but they definatly seemed healthy considering how far past regular planting dated they were.
These seem like they would last quite awhile if growing something smaller that isn't going to expand as much or as soon. I'm trying them with one of my little aloe vera plants now a good place to replant a little one til it's a little larger and will be okay in a regular sized planter. Again they seem to be holding up well very thick fairly strong doesn't fall apart the second they get wet. I hope to use a couple more over the rest of summer and fall and hopefully have plenty left for next spring. Maybe even a few over the winter since I'm setting up a green house for the fall and early winter, see how far it can extend my growing season. If all goes well most likely picking up another set by mid winter.
